"Where do I start?" Recommendations for starting an internet business 2

A week has passed.

I ended up thinking of a story, but since the field I gather information about is internet entrepreneurship, I can't talk about anything else, so the rest of it is just fantasy or general stuff.

This time I'll write it as an output.

I'm starting an online business, but the latest trend is video editing.

Isn't there a day that goes by without seeing it on YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram Reels?

Make a video of it and post it

But what if it doesn't become popular?

No, that's not the story this time.

Instead of being the one releasing videos, what if you were the one making them?

Once you receive the script and materials, you can create a video that matches the image.

But you’ve never made a video before?

People who say that have never done it before.

I also studied how to make videos for about three months, but you can't get started unless you can invest that much.

In the end, you will only do the easy things you can do.

That kind of thing is easy, so the difficulty level is low, and if there is a competitor, it will quickly become obsolete.

You're starting a business, so let's throw away that idea of having fun.

It's not possible to earn money easily from the beginning

Have you ever found that your work becomes more enjoyable once you get used to it?

At first, you're told this and that, you fail, you get scolded, but you still work hard to get your pay.

Isn't that how it's been?

As soon as it becomes your field, you take the easy way out.

Startups are companies too

It would be better for the CEO of such a company not to start a business with such vague ideas.

I know I said it harshly, but starting a business does not necessarily mean you will make easy money.

It may take a year to a year and a half before you make money.

During that time, your income will be minimal.

But you do this with an eye towards the amount you'll receive in the future, right?

Some people may think that they can earn another income while working, but if you do that, you won't be able to earn another income the next day.

For that kind of thing, you should use day labor or part-time work, which anyone can do.

It should open up prospects for the future.

We can't continue like this.

So I have to say it's naive to think you can make money without making the investment that's worth it.

If you continue to think like that, you never know when you might find yourself unable to make money from your main job and hit a dead end.

People can't escape from sweet illusions unless they are forced to do so.

Nowadays, there may be stock investments and FX, but even those are things you gather information about on a daily basis as part of your job.

I'm not saying you have to do anything alone.

You can also listen to people who are experts in the field, and even use consultants.

Maybe you'll find some information that you can't get by searching the internet?

I don't think anyone has decided to start a business after reading this blog, but I've been following information about starting a business for about four years now.

It's true that starting an online business may be possible with just a smartphone or a computer.

But the source of that knowledge is the knowledge in your head.

We may be able to use generative AI to generate knowledge now, but it's still not perfect.

If you want to wait until then, that's fine.

But you're getting older as you go along

"I'll do it when things calm down" is too late

If you're going to do it, do it now - that's the golden rule of business.

When you think about cooking, you don't just decide to do it when you have time, but you actually prepare the ingredients, cook it, and taste it, right?

So you can see if it was good or bad.

And if you cook for many years, you gradually learn the taste of food.

If you don't do that, you're like a child who doesn't cook, just eats.

Let's calm down a bit

Well, anything can be called an online business, but let's brainstorm what we can do.

Website creation, SNS management, affiliate marketing, token community, live streamer, video production, web writer, coaching, illustrator, 3D modeling, game production, programming, translation

You can do these things on the day if you want to.

However, rather than making a half-hearted change, it's better to first master one thing and then do it.

Once you've done a certain amount of work, you can move on to the next task.

The only thing I can say is that I won't go into any other industry.

In that case, it would just be a reset of everything you've done so far, and there would be no benefit.

You can start an online business with zero cost, but it's best to go through a proper process before you create a product.

You can't understand anything until you try it to the max.

There's something called the 10,000 hour rule, which says that if you put in 10,000 hours of work in any field, you can become an expert.

Are you continuing to study English? Do you speak English? Do you listen to English to improve your listening skills?

If you don't do it, it's no wonder you can't speak English.

You don't have enough practical experience.

This may sound arrogant, but I'm doing this simultaneously.

In the end, I thought it would be better to be able to do everything rather than just one thing in this day and age.

As a multi-creator, you will also learn how to use apps.

People who thought, "Is it really possible to do something so amazing?"

If you can't do it, you don't get paid

Well, at worst you might have to do some menial work, but it's a gamble and an investment.

I've said this many times before, but while you're not doing anything, you're getting older.

I think the future you see will be different if you do it than if you don't.

It may be presumptuous to say this much, but it's up to you whether you do it or not.

However, if you do it, it will definitely open up your future, so there's no reason not to do it, right?

Even when starting a business, I don't think money will come in without doing anything.

Those are probably network businesses, MLMs, or fraudulent schools.

The trick is to make them think, "Is there really something amazing about that kind of money-making scheme?"

There may be some places that do it properly, but most lure you in with sweet words like "¥X million from the first month" or "¥X million per month."

There's no need for such sweet words

Maybe some of them are, but how many times have you been fooled?

Every single time you are deceived in the same way, don't you think, "Next time will be different?"

If so, this is the next one.

If you've read this far and thought ebifurai55 was arrogant?!

I don't have anything to say to you that sounds sweet.

We are looking at whether it is realistically achievable.

It may be ideal to have everyone be friendly and harmonious like at a school play, but there will always be people who betray others.

At times like that, you may think, "That person is like that."

It's easy to think that.

But isn't that clouding your view of people?

Even though you have a case study, doesn't it end with that person being that kind of person?

So then you start analyzing: why did that person say that?

If you know the background, you will understand the meaning. Or even better, if you know the information, you will understand everything.

German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche said, " There are no facts, there are only interpretations. "

But you're just interpreting it that way.

That is something I can say too.

Anyone could say that knowing is ignorance.

There are some things I don't know, and you don't know anything about IT either, right?

Therefore, the essential skills that people need to have are "listening" and "being willing to listen."

Can you suddenly become an expert?

Humans don't suddenly become old.

If so, can I trust this article?

Maybe it's not fun for you, but that's my interpretation.

It's okay to think, "Maybe this guy can't do anything."

But do you know the future?

I wasn't sure if generative AI would even come out.

Aren't you just jumping to conclusions like that?

First, get out of your preconceived notions and learn new things.

"There are stories like this out there."

I want you to know that

This is not just a business issue, it's a universal issue.

That doesn't mean you should blindly believe it. It's just a cult.

This story is just a reference for you to make a judgment.

I can't take responsibility for other people's lives.

Will you see what I say and will you take action?

It's all down to me

Well, it's always been said, but aren't we hoping for too much from superheroes?

I wish you were a superhero

The curriculum of Japanese schools is designed to make students do what the government tells them to do, so there are probably a lot of people who are like robots.

Lately that's not the case though.

But you, who don't change, should change.

I want people to start their own businesses and realize that the world is not all sweet deals.

If you don't do it, you won't be able to do anything after all.
