Will all companies of the future be Web3 companies?

Hello

Today's topic is the unfamiliar term "Web3".

I don't know the definition, but I would define it as the cryptocurrency, NFT, or token community.

I have written about cryptocurrencies in a previous blog, but if you are still skeptical, imagine a future where cryptocurrencies become the currency of the future.

Just as we already enjoy the convenience of barcode payments, it is possible that virtual currencies will become legal tender in the future.

Even if you think that's silly, just as the value of the yen rises and falls depending on the exchange rate, virtual currencies also rise and fall in value.

However, the difference between regular yen and virtual currency is the number of coins issued.

This is why it is called digital gold. We will go into more detail on this next time, but there is a high probability that virtual currencies will dominate the market.

Next, there's NFTs, which are called non-physical tokens, and you might think they're only relevant in the art world, right?

However, NFTs are expected to be used in various ways because they are unique in the world and have a unique authenticity. For example, if you create a rare product, you can authenticate the fake, or if you want money, you can sell the NFT for money and also give management rights.

NFTs are not very useful due to their commercial nature, but they will be effective when creating unique products.

Next is the token community.

The system works by issuing stock-like things called tokens, circulating them within the community, and allowing everyone to make money as the value of the tokens rises and falls.

You may be wondering, "Is there any benefit to buying tokens?" But tokens are not something that only one person buys.

Other people are also buying it, so it's inevitable that people with the same mindset will gather.

You can hold events, add content, or just say hello. It's like a stock version of what we now call an online salon.

Of course, you don't have to join, so if there is a token community that suits your tastes, go there.

However, if the quality of the community improves, people will inevitably gather.

If that person buys the token, the value of the token will increase.

This creates a virtuous cycle.

It feels just like a neighborhood festival.

It's nothing special, but neighborhood festivals are always exciting, right?

What's more, idols who hold concerts at Tokyo Dome make more money, right?

The token community is an attempt to do this in the web world.

The above three are the next generation of technologies known as Web3.

There may be more to it than this, but that's as far as I understand it.

In short, there's nothing better than developing your own products using your own currency and having your company comprised of your own community.

It's like creating an economic sphere called an ecosystem.

Future companies must aim for this Web3.

In the first place, a corporation is just a group of people who want to make a profit, so the modern corporation can be called a Web3 company.

By the way, there is no centralized authority to police it.

Web3 is where each community comes together independently.

So there is no imbalance of power.

In addition, it can be used across Web3, not just one.

One approach would be to buy tokens from a company with promising futures and then harvest the profits when it grows.

In other words, it is a global movement that governments cannot control.

Of course, some influential companies will emerge.

However, maintaining a good business reputation is difficult for any company, and unless the company is well-managed, it will face ups and downs.

So, ebifurai55's conclusion is that you should use Web3 for now, whether you can or can't.

Even if I say this much, there are people who do it and people who don't.

Statistics show that only 15% of people adopt new technology and are called early adopters.

Others are called laggards, people who start doing things when others start doing them.

However, if you are reading this blog, please join the top 15%.

We must do this now, as capitalism is reaching its limits!

I can strongly say that

Once everyone else has made a profit, it's no longer worth it.
